Week of Kindness
This week we will be celebrating KINDNESS at Juniper! Kindness is when we treat others with respect, show appreciation, and make the world a happier place for everyone. Our students will be challenged this week to do acts of kindness to others. These acts can include writing a letter to a friend, asking someone to play at recess, pick up a piece of trash at school, help a classmate, and give high fives to others.
Week of Kindness - Spirit Days
Monday - Aloha to Kindness - Dress in your favorite Hawaiian outfit or flowers
Tuesday - Go Wild for Kindness - Wear animal print or an animal shirt
Wednesday - Magic of Kindness - Wear Disney
Thursday - Peace, Love, and Kindness - Wear Tie Dye
Friday - Multiple Kindness - Dress as a twin or triplet
EUSD ThoughtExchange - Join the Conversation
EUSD is eager to hear your thoughts as we develop our framework for the future of our students! We are currently outlining services and programs we provide to our EUSD community, and we want your ideas. Share your thoughts here via the interactive platform Thoughtexchange and follow the discussion focused on this guiding question: What are the most important skills, supports, and experiences EUSD students would need to reach their unlimited potential? We value your feedback, which will inform decision-making and prioritization of services in our district, as well as assist us in plans to allocate resources from the MacKenzie Scott donation. The Thoughtexchange will be available through January 31. Your confidential contribution to the conversation is essential as we continue to improve programs and services to our students, families, and employees.
English Learner Advisory Council Meeting - Rescheduled for Thursday, Jan. 26 , at 5:30

Juniper will be having a meeting for parents of English Language Learners. The meeting will cover the upcoming ELPAC test (English Language Proficiency Assessments for California), our students will take in February.
Parent Leadership COMPACT Meeting - ALL parents are welcome to attend!!

All parents are welcome to attend the parent meeting this Wednesday at 5:30. We will be meeting in room 21, or you can join us virtually on Zoom at this link. At this meeting we will be discussing two important topics: safe and walkable communities and creating an awareness of safety practices in the community.
