Our Juniper Jaguars had an amazing first week of school! Our week was full of community building, making new friends, and learning about our school culture. Thank you for your support in helping our school get off to a great start!
Please read the updates and reminders for the Week of August 14, 2022.
Closed Campus: Beginning tomorrow, August 15, 2022, Juniper will be a closed campus. Only students will be allowed through the school gates before and after school. In the morning, all students will enter through the far gate in the Drop-off Zone, and all kindergarten and TK students will enter through the Kinder Gate and go straight to their line-up area on the playground. If your kindergartener is getting breakfast, they can enter through the far gate. We have our 5th grade safety patrol ready to support our kindergarten students each morning at the lunch tables if they choose to eat breakfast at school.
Please note: Our state preschool families will still have permission to be on campus to drop off students at the classroom.
Dogs on Campus: There has been several family dogs on campus during our 1st week of school. Please note that domestic animals may not be on campus at any time, including the parking lot. This is for the safety of our students and visitors.
Open House: Our annual Open House will be on Wednesday, August 24, 2022.
Juniper Preschool, TK, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Grade: 5:30-5:55pm
3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade: 6:00-6:25pm
Dropping off and Picking up on Juniper Ave: Students may not be dropped off or picked up on Juniper Ave. We require all parents to drive into the parking lot to safely drop off your student. Juniper Ave is a red zone and it is unsafe to stop your vehicle at anytime. We also ask for cars to not make a u-turn in front of the school. It is a busy street and accidents happen with this action.
Parking Lot Information: Please use the right lane in the parking lot. The left (inside lane) is reserved for our Juniper Preschool drop off and pick up, as well as for selected classes. This lane is used as a waiting zone for these families. If you park in the parking lot before and after school, it is very difficult to exit your parking spot when families are waiting in the lanes. We ask for your patience and encourage you not to park at these times.
Accessing Rooms: We appreciate your patience as we work to ensure that every family gets connected to our new app and Rooms, the classroom communication platform accessed through the app. We know that many of our families are still in need of getting registered for Rooms. The district will be sending another round of invitations to families that have not activated their Rooms accounts. Follow the steps in the invitation to create your account. Once you have set up your Rooms account through the invitation, you can log in to Rooms in the EUSD app on your mobile device or go to edurooms.com on a computer to log in. This guide for families provides assistance for completing the setup of accounts in Rooms. In addition, the app has been updated for iPhone users to fix a bug that was preventing parents from being able to see messages from teachers in their entirety. Please check the App Store to ensure that the app is updated on your device.
