We hope you’re enjoying the long weekend! Just a reminder, there is no school on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day. School will resume on Tuesday, May 26th. It’s a busy week ahead as we head into the final stretch of the school year! Be sure to read below for important updates, events, and reminders.

2026-2027 Student Registration

Registration for the 2026–2027 school year is now open! This includes both returning EUSD students and new TK–8 students joining from another district or enrolling for the first time. Click on the link below to complete your registration, and please make sure you select the correct school year. 

Returning Student Registration:

If your child is currently enrolled at our school and will be returning to Juniper next school year, you can complete the registration process early this year. This will ensure a smooth transition into the new school year. Returning Student Registration

For families who are new to our school community or have incoming students joining us for the first time. We look forward to welcoming new faces and providing them with a warm and supportive environment for learning and growth. Thank you for choosing our school for your child's education. Memorial Day

In observance of Memorial Day, there will be no school on Monday, May 25. We hope all of our Juniper families enjoy the long weekend as we honor and remember those who have served our country.

PTA BBQ Bingo Night

Join us for our PTA BBQ & Bingo Night on Thursday, May 28, starting at 5:00 PM! Bring the whole family for a fun evening filled with delicious food, exciting bingo games, and great prizes. We’re also excited to have Big City Dogz on site serving up their tasty hot dogs and favorites. Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to enjoy a night of food, fun, and community with our Juniper families!

Book Fair

Juniper's Spring Book Fair is coming and will run a bit differently. It will be open for classes to visit during their scheduled library time. If you would like your child to shop at the book fair during this time. If you choose, there will be an option to fill an E-Wallet for your child, so no cash needs to come to school. The Book Fair will also be open on May 28 during our BBQ/Bingo Night. More information will be sent home soon. 

Fire Drill

We will be having a scheduled fire drill on May 28, at 9am to help students and staff practice what to do in case of an emergency. This drill is an important part of keeping our school safe and making sure everyone knows how to evacuate calmly and quickly. Please remind your child to listen carefully and follow directions during the drill.

Health Office Reminder

If your child has medication stored in the health office, please plan to pick it up June 10 during school hours. If you are unable to come during those dates, contact the office at 760-432-2462 to arrange an alternate pickup time. Medications cannot be stored over the summer, and must be picked up by a parent or guardian.

5th Grade Promotion

The 5th Grade Promotion Ceremony will take place on June 10 at 9:00 a.m. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m., and we kindly ask that all 5th grade students arrive by 7:55 a.m. to ensure they are prepared for the ceremony. Please note that seating will not be provided. Families are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or portable seating for their comfort during the ceremony. To help maintain a clear view for all guests, we ask that umbrellas not be used during the ceremony. In addition, balloons are not permitted on campus. If you bring balloons, you will be asked to tie them to the gate at the entrance. We look forward to celebrating this important milestone with you and your children!

Promotion Parking

5th grade families, Westminster Church has generously offered their parking lot for our use on June 10th the 5th Grade Promotion Ceremony. Please feel free to park there that morning to help reduce traffic congestion during morning drop-off. This will help accommodate everyone and ease parking challenges. The church is located at 500 S Juniper St.
