Welcome Back, Jaguar Families! We hope you had a joyful and restful winter break. As we kick off the new year, we’re excited to see students back on campus and ready for learning, fun, and community celebrations. Here’s a look at what’s coming up as we start the year together!
5th Grade Field Trip
On January 9, our 5th graders will set sail for an exciting whale-watching adventure! Please make sure your child wears appropriate shoes and clothing for a day on the water to stay safe and comfortable while enjoying this unforgettable experience.
Vista Hill Parent Group
The second session of the Vista Hill Parent Group will begin on January 7 at 8:30 AM in Room 52 and will run for 10 consecutive weeks. Parents will learn valuable strategies to better understand their children and strengthen family unity. Please note that these sessions will be conducted in Spanish. School of Choice Registration
The School of Choice application window for the 2026-2027 school year is open now through January 30. If you’d like your child to attend a school other than their school of residence, now is the time to apply. A separate application is required for each student, and placements are determined through a random, unbiased lottery. Please remember, applications must be submitted by January 30. Any applications received after this date will not be accepted. Please visit eusd.org to complete your application.
For Current Juniper Families:
If you have a new incoming TK or Kindergarten student, please complete the School of Choice application if your current Juniper student is already attending on a SOC approval. Each new student must submit a separate application to be considered in the lottery.
