We hope you had a relaxing weekend and had a chance to enjoy some time with family and friends. As we head into a new week, we’re excited to see all the learning and fun happening around campus. Thank you for your continued support in making our school a great place for every student!
Fire Drill
We will be having a scheduled fire drill on November 19 at 2pm to help students and staff practice what to do in case of an emergency. This drill is an important part of keeping our school safe and making sure everyone knows how to evacuate calmly and quickly. Please remind your child to listen carefully and follow directions during the drill

TK Thankful Program
Our TK students will be celebrating a Thankful Program on November 20 at 11am. They will be singing and participating in fun classroom activities to celebrate the season of gratitude. Parents of TK students are welcome to attend and enjoy this special program with their children. Teachers have sent home information about the program; if you have any questions, please contact your child’s teacher through the Rooms app.

Minimum Day
Students in TK through 5th grade will be dismissed at 12:10pm on Friday, November 21. Students in the State Preschool program will be dismissed at their regular time. Please plan ahead for pick-up, as dismissal will be earlier than usual, and we want to ensure all students are picked up promptly.

Every Jaguar Counts Assembly
Get ready for our Every Jaguar Counts Assembly on November 21 at 8:00am! This month, students will be dancing the Chicken Dance and showing off their school spirit. We’ll also be celebrating our Students of the Month. Parents are invited to attend, cheer on the students, and join in the fun. It’s always a wonderful way to celebrate our Jaguar community!

Coffee with Cottingham
Join us for Coffee with Cottingham on November 21 at 8:30am, right after the Every Jaguar Counts Assembly. This is a great opportunity for parents to connect, ask questions, and enjoy some conversation while getting to know our school community better. Parents will also have the chance to make corn husk dolls as part of a fun hands-on activity.

Report Cards
Report cards will be sent home on November 21. Please check your child’s backpack and take time to review their progress. Celebrate their hard work, and if you have any questions or would like to discuss the report card, feel free to contact their teacher on Rooms.

ASB Stuffed Animal Day
Students are invited to bring a stuffed animal to school on November 21 for Spirit Day. Please make sure the stuffed animal is small enough to fit on your child’s desk and in their backpack. It’s a fun way for students to show school spirit and enjoy a cozy companion during the day.

PTA Chuck-E-Cheese
Join us for a fun PTA event at Chuck E. Cheese on November 21. It’s a great opportunity for students and families to enjoy games, activities, and time together while supporting our school.

Thanksgiving Break
There will be no school from November 24 through November 28 for Thanksgiving break. Classes will resume on December 1. We hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday!

Lost and Found
Our lost and found is overflowing! If your child is missing something, please take a moment to check the table during drop-off or pick-up. As a reminder, labeling your child’s belongings with their name helps us return items quickly if they’re brought to the lost and found. We’ll soon be donating any unclaimed items, so please stop by to pick up your child’s things before they’re gone. Let’s work together to make sure everything makes its way back home!

Canned Food Drive
Our Canned Food Drive is underway and will continue through November 20! Please send in any canned food donations to help support our local shelters and families in need. Every can makes a difference! The class that brings in the most canned food will win a fun popsicle party. Let's work together to make a big impact, Jaguars!
