Take a look at what’s happening this week at Juniper School. We’re excited to share the latest updates, reminders, and upcoming events in our school community. Be sure to read through so you don’t miss any important information for you and your family.

Earthquake Drill

We will be conducting an earthquake drill on September 29, at 8:15am. This drill is an important safety practice to ensure that all students and staff are prepared in the event of an actual earthquake. Students will practice "Drop, Cover, and Hold On," taking cover under desks and holding on until the drill is complete. We will then safely evacuate to designated areas. This practice ensures that students and staff are prepared in case of an actual earthquake.

National Custodian Day

Join us in celebrating National Custodian Day on Oct. 2nd by giving a big thank you to Mr. Art for all he does to keep our campus clean, safe, and welcoming. We truly appreciate his hard work and dedication to our school community!

Walk and Roll to School Day

Join us on October 8 for Walk & Roll to School Day! We will be meeting at Westminster Church, (1500 S. Juniper St.) at 7:20 AM to walk and ride together to school. This event encourages healthy habits, reduces traffic around campus, and helps our environment. Students who ride bikes or scooters must wear a helmet for safety.

Pick Up & Drop Off

Some families are dropping off students along the red curb, across the street and jaywalking on Juniper St., or parking in the neighboring apartment parking lot. Please remember that stopping on the red curb, even with hazard lights on, is illegal, and the apartment parking lot is private property. We kindly ask that everyone respects our neighbors' property as part of our community. All students being driven to school should be dropped off in the designated Drop-Off Zone inside the school parking lot. Additionally, please do not leave your vehicle parked in the red zone to walk up and pick up your student. For everyone’s safety, please use the crosswalk, which is supervised by a crossing guard. Please support and respect school staff as they assist students with drop-off and pick-up. Thank you for helping us keep our school safe and respectful.
