We hope you had a relaxing weekend and a wonderful first week of school. It has been great seeing our students settling into their new classrooms, making friends, and getting back into the rhythm of learning. Thank you for your support in helping us start the year off smoothly. Take a look at what’s happening at Juniper this week!

We look forward to seeing you there!
Attendance
Student success starts with showing up! Attending school every day and arriving on time helps students stay on track, build strong learning habits, and feel connected to their classmates and teachers. Even missing a few minutes of class can add up and make it harder to catch up. When students are present and ready to learn, they give themselves the best chance to grow and succeed. If your child will be absent, please call the office right away to report the absence. Remember, Every Day Counts!

PE
PE starts this Monday! Please pack a water bottle in your child's backpack. Staying hydrated is important for their energy, focus, and safety, especially as we will be experiencing hot weather.

Fire Drill
We will have our first fire drill on August 29 at 9 am. During a fire drill, students practice leaving the building quickly and safely with their class. Teachers will explain the steps to students ahead of time so they know what to expect and do not feel scared. Fire drills help everyone be prepared in case of an emergency.

Technology on campus
Personal technology, including: smart watches, cell phones, and tracking devices, must be turned off and kept in students’ backpacks during school hours. These devices should not be used during class time. If you need to get in touch with your child during the school day, please call the school office and we will make sure your message is delivered.

EXPLORE After School Enrichment
Our Expanded Learning Classes are back! Is your student interested in joining one of our amazing EXPLORE After School Enrichment Programs? Student Interest Forms will be sent home on August 25. To register your child, please complete the form and return it to their teacher or the front office. Spots are limited and fill quickly, so be sure to turn it in right away!
Registration Closes: September 3
Fall Session: September 15 to November 19
