CAASPP Testing

We’re ending CAASPP testing for students in grades 3–5. To help students do their best on the final days, please ensure they get a good night’s sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and come to school with their iPads fully charged each day. We kindly ask families to schedule any medical or other appointments outside of school hours or after May 23, when testing ends, as it is very important for students to be present every day during testing. Thank you for your support!

Attendance Challenge

The attendance challenge is going strong! Students in grades 3–5 who have perfect attendance from April 22 through May 23 will earn a special meet-and-greet with a BMX performer. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to be recognized for their commitment to showing up every day and giving their best effort.

2025-2026 YMCA Interest Form

The interest form for next year’s YMCA Before and After School Program is now open! Please note that enrollment isn’t first-come, first-served. Because the program is funded by the California Department of Education, priority is given to foster and homeless youth, students who qualify for free or reduced-price meals, and English learners. If there’s more interest than available space, a lottery will be held. While you can submit the interest form anytime during the 2025–26 school year, the first round of applications will be reviewed in May. To be included in Round 1, please submit your form by Wednesday, May 21, 2025.

Fire Drill

On May 21st, we will be conducting a fire drill at 2 PM. This is an important part of our safety procedures, ensuring that students and staff are prepared in the event of an emergency. Please remind your child to stay calm and follow instructions from teachers and staff. We appreciate your support in helping us maintain a safe and prepared school environment.

Spring Musical

The families of our After-School Enrichment Theater class are invited to the performance of Three Nanny Goats Gruff on May 21 at 6:00 PM. They have been working hard to bring this fun and exciting performance to life, and we can’t wait for you to see it! The show will take place in the VPA, so be sure to arrive on time to enjoy this fantastic production. We look forward to celebrating the students' hard work and dedication!

McTeacher’s Night

Join us for McTeacher’s Night on May 22nd from 4–7 PM! Swing by McDonald’s on Felicita to see your favorite Juniper staff in action and support our awesome PTA and ASB!

iReady Testing

iReady Testing for K–2nd grade begins May 19th and runs through May 30th. Please help your student do their best by making sure they get a good night’s sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and come to school with their iPads fully charged. We also ask that any appointments be scheduled outside of school hours.

Memorial Day

There is no school on May 26th in observance of Memorial Day. School will resume on May 27th.

Open House

Open House is on May 29th at 5 PM! Stop by to check out the Book Fair, connect with the Public Library, and visit the Live Well Bus for great family resources. Don’t miss it!

2025-2026 Student Registration

Registration for returning EUSD students will open on May 13. Registration for new K–8 students (coming from another district or brand new to EUSD) will also open on May 13. Returning Student Registration

If your child is currently enrolled at our school and will be returning to Juniper next school year, you can complete the registration process early this year. This will ensure a smooth transition into the new school year.
