We hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend in honor of Veterans Day! This holiday is a meaningful time to remember and honor the sacrifices of our veterans who have served to protect our freedoms. As we return to school, let's carry that spirit of gratitude and respect into the week ahead. Take a look at this week's events and mark your calendars for what's coming up!

Veterans Day -  No school on Monday, November 11th, in observance of Veterans Day. Classes will resume on Tuesday, November 12th. Enjoy the long weekend!

This special event is for students in Mrs. Craven, Mrs. Reynolds, and Ms. Vega’s classes. Please note: 1st grade students in Mrs. Rosenkranz and Mrs. Aere’s class will have their Family Day at lunch on a different date. A flyer with parent guidelines and the exact time was sent home last week. We look forward to sharing a wonderful lunch with you!

Pick Up & Drop Off - It has been observed that some families are dropping off students along the red curb, across the street, and jaywalking on Juniper St., or parking in the neighboring apartment parking lot. Please remember that stopping on the red curb, even with hazard lights on, is illegal, and the apartment parking lot is private property. We kindly ask that everyone respects our neighbors' property as part of our community. All students being driven to school should be dropped off in the designated Drop-Off Zone inside the school parking lot. Additionally, please do not leave your vehicle parked in the red zone to walk up and pick up your student. For everyone’s safety, please use the crosswalk, which is supervised by a crossing guard. Thank you for helping us keep our school safe and respectful of our neighbors!

PTA Meeting - Our next PTA meeting is scheduled for Monday, November 13th, at 6:15 pm in the VPA. This is a great opportunity to stay informed, share ideas, and support our school community. We hope you can join us—your involvement makes a difference!
