We hope you had a fantastic spring break and enjoyed a wonderful Easter celebration with your loved ones. As we gear up for our return to school on April 2nd, we're excited to welcome back all our Jaguars with open arms! We can't wait to see every Jaguar's smiling face back in the classrooms. Vista Hill – Our Vista Hill Parenting Group Session will begin April 4. This session will run for 9 consecutive weeks every Thursday at Juniper in room 21 at 8:30. In this session, parents will learn how to strengthen family unity. These classes will be in Spanish. If you are interested in English classes, please call Vanessa Hernandez at 760-560-5036.

Chocolate Fundraiser – Chocolate fundraiser kickoff will begin on April 5. Students who participate will be given one box of chocolate with a signed permission slip. Please note, unsold chocolate bars cannot be returned and it is the responsibility of the student/parent.

Kindergarten Registration – Registration for Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten for the 2024-25 school year is open. To register your child, please visit EUSD.org and click on "Parents and Families." You will find the registration portal where you can begin the enrollment process. If you need any additional information or assistance, please don't hesitate to contact the school office. Early registration is encouraged to secure your child's spot for the upcoming school year. We look forward to welcoming your child into our school community and providing them with an enriching educational experience!

Cal Healthy Kids Survey (CHKS) – We want to inform you that during the week of April 8th, our 5th-grade students will be participating in the CAL Healthy Kids Survey (CHKS). This survey is designed to gather anonymous and confidential feedback on various aspects of school climate and safety, student wellness, and youth resiliency. Please note that participation in the survey is voluntary. However, we encourage all 5th-grade students to take part as their feedback will help us better understand their experiences and needs within our school community. We want to assure you that the survey is administered in a secure and confidential manner, and individual responses will not be identifiable. The information gathered will be used to improve our programs and support services for students.

School Site Council – Our School Site Council meeting will be on April 10th at 2:45 PM. Your participation and input are highly valued as we discuss important matters concerning our school. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend this meeting. Your presence and contributions play a vital role in shaping the direction of our school community.
