The Great Kindness Challenge – The Great Kindness Challenge begins this week! Students and teachers will focus on ways to show kindness to others through actions and words. Each day represents a fun way to celebrate kindness on campus.
Monday – Peace, Love & Kindness; Wear Tie Dye
Tuesday – Shine Bright with Kindness; Wear neon or bright colors
Wednesday – Say Yee-Haw for Kindness; Dress as a cowboy or cowgirl
Thursday – Color our World with Kindness; Wear your favorite color
Friday – It’s your job to be Kind; Career Day
PTA Movie Night – PTA will be sponsoring our movie night, Thursday January 25, at 5 pm. Movie tickets are SOLD OUT. If you purchased movie tickets, make sure to bring your pillows and blankets to enjoy watching The Secret Life of Pets 2.
Vista Hill – Our Vista Hill Parenting Group Session began January 11th. This session will run for 10 consecutive weeks every Thursday at Juniper in room 21 at 8:30. In this session, parents will learn how to strengthen family unity. These classes will be in Spanish. If you are interested in English classes, please call Vanessa at 760-560-5036
Friday Morning Assembly – This Friday January 26, we will have our Friday assembly at 8 am to honor our Students of the Month. We hope you are able to attend.

Parent Workshop – Parents are invited to join Mr. Spriggs, Restorative Justice Specialist, on January 30, at 8:15 in room 21 to discuss and encourage reflection, responsibility and how to support your student at home.
