Thank you to all our families that came to our Carl’s Jr. Fundraiser. I hope everyone had a great time watching our Christmas Musical and our Band Concert last week. After School Enrichment Classes – The winter session of the after school enrichment program will be starting in January. Among the classes are: Musical Theater, Chess, Ballet Folklorico, Girls on the Run, and more! ELAC Meeting – ELAC (English Language Learners Advisory Committee) is a school level committee made up of parents, staff, designated to advise school officials on English learner programs and services. Earthquake Drill – The essential components of earthquake drills are classroom discussions, demonstrations, and exercises designed to help students learn and practice WHERE to seek shelter and HOW to protect their heads and bodies from objects (e.g., debris from ceilings, light fixtures, and shattered glass). On Tuesday December 19, we will have an earthquake drill at 11am.

Attendance – Just a reminder that after ten (10) absences for personal illness, any further absences must be verified with a physician's note or the student must be brought to school on each day of the illness to have a designated staff verify the illness.

Perfect Attendance – There are 17 letters in the words Perfect Attendance. The classroom that gets 17 letters wins a popsicle party! In order to get a letter, every student must be present. Congratulations to Mrs. Aere’s, Mr. Peterson’s, and Mrs. Rosenkranz’s classes, they won a popsicle party for having perfect attendance!

Red and Green Day – Friday December 22, is Red and Green Day. Show your school spirit, wear red or green!

Lost and Found – Our Lost and Found is full of sweaters and jackets. If your child is missing theirs, please check the lost and found rack. All leftover items will be donated over the Winter Break. As a reminder please put your child’s name on their clothing so that it can be returned to them if found. Thank you!

Holiday Sing-a-long – Join us on December 22, at 8:30 for a favorite Juniper tradition, our Holiday Sing-a-long! Each grade level will sing a holiday favorite. Hope you can come and see our jaguars perform to get you ready for the holiday break.

Cookies with Cottingham – Join us after the Holiday Sing-a-long for some Holiday Hot Chocolate and Cookies with Mrs. Cottingham.

Winter Break – We will be on winter break from December 25 to January 9. Happy holidays and see you back on January 9.
