Juniper Families. I hope you had a great weekend with your families. We are looking forward to seeing everyone this week! Please take a look at this week’s events.
Back to School Night – This Wednesday is Back to School Night at Juniper Elementary. Our Preschool, TK, Kinder, 1st, and 2nd grade families will meet teachers in the classroom at 5:35 pm. Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade families will meet the teachers at 5 pm. All teachers and staff look forward to sharing school information with all our families. See you on Aug. 30!
Please be aware that parking is limited in our parking lot. Please be patient. We encourage parking on the street.
Arrival and Dismissal – It has been observed that families are dropping their students off on the curb of Juniper Street, or go inside the parking lot of the apartments next to the school. Please note that it is a red curb and it is against the law to stop there at any moment. The apartments are private property and we need to respect their property as part of the community. All students who are being driven to school need to be dropped off in the Drop off Zone in the parking lot. Also please use the crosswalk to safely cross Juniper Street. Our crosswalk is supported by a crossing guard for everyone’s safety.
Labor Day – September 4 is Labor Day. School will be closed on Monday for the holiday weekend. We will see our Jaguars on Tuesday, September 5.
Coffee with Cottingham – We will have our first Coffee with Cottingham September 8. All families are welcome to attend. We will be discussing our Title I, take a campus tour, and ask for parent input.
