Lost and Found Bin and Cold Weather

Lost Found Box

Our Lost and Found bin in overflowing with jackets and sweaters.  Please encourage your student to check the bin, located by the office, for any lost items.  With the cold weather continuing during the next week, please make sure your student has a warm coat or sweater on.  Please write your child's name in their outerwear so that we can return lost items to them.

Classroom Treats, Healthy Food, and Candy

Healthy Food

Due to the Wellness Policy that we have at Juniper School, we encourage students do not bring in classroom treats for their class, including cupcakes and candy.  If families wish to celebrate birthdays with treats, please reach out to your child's teacher for our Food Event Request Form.  These forms need to be filled out a week in advance and gain approval before any treats can be brought to school.  This is for the safety and wellness of all our students.     Additionally, we encourage all candy to be left at home.

If you want to celebrate, we recommend donating a book to the classroom or school library.

Head Lice - Message from our Health Tech

LICE ARE NOT NICE.  But anyone can get them.

EUSD is experiencing an increase in head lice cases, we encourage every parent to please check every child's head for lice. Please remind your child to not try on or borrow friends' scarves, hats or clothing, combs or brushes. If we all work together we can eliminate this problem quickly.
