Parents and families enjoyed sharing cookies, connecting with our school community, and celebrating the season together. Each family also received a Juniper Christmas ornament as a special keepsake. November was full of wonderful moments on our campus. Our Kindergarten students brought so much joy with their Thanksgiving Balloon Parade, proudly walking around campus and showing off their creative balloons.
Our TK students melted hearts with their Thankful Program, performing songs and sharing gratitude with their families.
We also want to highlight the generosity of our school community. Our annual Food Drive brought in 1334 cans, all donated to families in need in our area. Thank you to everyone who contributed.
A big congratulations to Mrs. Kirkbride and Mrs. Rosenkranz’s class for winning the November Attendance Challenge. They were the only class in the school to meet the goal and celebrated with an extra recess and a popsicle party.
We are so proud of our students, families, and staff for making these moments special!

October 8, 2025 was Juniper’s Walk and Roll to School Day. Juniper Jaguars took part in a global event that encourages children and families to walk and roll to school. Walk and Roll to School celebrates active and safe trips, and it's a chance to inspire lasting change and make school routes safer for all of us!

The Escondido Union School District is pleased to continue to offer the Gifted and Talented Education program. For GATE identification, all 2nd-grade students will have the opportunity to participate in universal screening in November. In addition, parents and teachers may recommend students not previously screened in grades 3 through 8 to be screened for GATE eligibility. Parents can pick up the Parent Background and Input Form in the school’s front office and should return it to the school by Friday, October 24. A school team will review requests and determine which students will be eligible to be screened in November. For more information, please visit our district website or stop by your school office.
