Today two 3 graders were awarded first and second place for a fire safety poster contest from the Escondido Fire Department. Winners received medals, books, a backpack and recognition in front of the whole school! Their work will be hung in the Escondido library for the next couple of months. Make sure to check it out with your family when you can! We are so proud of our Jaguars!

Science is in action in Mrs. Roberts’ class! Our students are learning through hands on exploration as they investigate, ask questions, and share what they discover. Students added their learning to an inquiry wall and had the opportunity to work like scientists by using tools specific to different areas of science. We love seeing our Jaguars’ curiosity come to life as they explore, investigate, and learn!

Our third graders are making music! Students are learning how to play the recorder with Mr. Johnson as an introduction to music. They are learning notes, practicing their skills, and having fun discovering the joy of making music. We love watching our Jaguars try something new and explore their creativity!

Yesterday, 44 Juniper students had the special opportunity to shop at JCPenney through Assistance League of Inland North County’s Operation School Bell! Operation School Bell helps provide local students with new clothing and other essential items they need to feel comfortable, confident, and ready for school. We are incredibly grateful to Assistance League and all those who make this program possible. Thank you for supporting our Jaguars and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our students!
